Yoga Nidra

 
 

This is a 90-minute Yin & Yoga Nidra combo. The Yin portion of class focuses on long held stretching postures that go beneath the superficial muscles to target the dense connective tissues of the body (hips, pelvis, low back, etc.). The result is increased flexibility and mobility, increased joint health, release of stagnant energy in the body, and a feeling of rejuvenation.

Yoga Nidra, also known as yogic sleep, is designed to take you into the deepest state of relaxation while you remain aware of what is going on around you. It is one of the easiest types of yoga to practice and it brings calm, peace, and deep restorative relaxation. Numerous mental and physical benefits come along with regular practice including decreased anxiety, improved quality and quantity of sleep, and overall calmer bodies, minds, and spirits.
